Wednesday, July 9th, 2008
Last month we launched the redesigned website for Penn State Industries on the Miva Merchant 5 platform. The site is by far the most customized Miva Merchant 5 site we've done to date. It boasts a number of great usability and merchandising features, including:

  • a rich site search tool
  • best sellers
  • customer ratings and reviews
  • related products
  • an online version of their print catalog
  • customers who bought this also bought...
  • detailed, searchable product specifications
  • "category-on-the-fly" capability with product faceting
  • a quick order feature for catalog customers
  • order status and package tracking
  • dynamic category paging, sorting, and product count views
  • and much more!

Many of these modules have been overcome by the development of MIVA Merchant, the OpenUI, or other offerings. So effective immediately, we are retiring the following modules: Add Product Redirect to Basket Atlas OnePoint ROI Tracker Bulk Set Weight Cat Tree Font Control Checkout Button Label Modify Related Items Header Multiple Category Columns Multiple Category Columns Plus Multiple Search Columns New Product Flag No Savings Upsell Product Dropdown Menu Quick Order Remove Search Form Super Headers and Footers Super Suppression These modules will no longer be supported under our free support plan.
