We begin most of our service engagements with a strategy and consulting phase. The length of this phase, and the variety of work it covers, depends on the client and the work requested. A strategy phase lets us determine the requirements necessary for the work to be performed, and it gives us a chance to provide you with a solid estimate for the work to be performed.
Many engagements require a custom strategy session to determine the project's needs. However, we also have two packaged strategy sessions, called Healthchecks. In more details, our Healthchecks are:
- Site Healthcheck: Our Site Healthcheck is a comprehensive review of your existing website, with a focus on usability, shop-ability (for ecommerce sites), copywriting, and branding. We provide you with details on where your site currently meets expectations, and a plan for strengthening areas where the site needs work.
- SEO Healthcheck: Our SEO Healthcheck provides an assessment of your current visibility among major search engines, with a focus on both off- and on-site optimization. The result is a recommendations document outlining how your website can be improved with elements such as better copywriting and an improved link strategy; and how your visibility can be improved through off-site techniques such as link building.
