The core of our business resolves around web site development. This includes configuration of third party packages, primarily the Miva Merchant shopping cart, the Wordpress weblog authoring tool, and a variety of other software solutions. We integrate the packages together to create a unifed web presence that helps you market and sell your services, and follow through with fulfillment and customer service.
Our expertise includes the following:
- Miva Merchant 5: We build shopping cart-enabled websites using Miva Merchant 5, the latest software version of the Miva Merchant shopping cart. Miva Merchant is robust, flexible, and extensible, making it a perfect solution for a variety of businesses.
- Miva Merchant 4: For customers who already operate a Miva Merchant 4 shopping cart, we offer design, development, maintenance, and programming services.
- Custom Miva Modules: In addition to our line of Miva modules available to the general public, we also offer custom programming services should your Miva store require a feature not currently available in the core system or third-party market. We've built custom modules to handle functionality such as EDI (electronic data interchange), MAP (manufacturer's advertised pricing), sales tax reporting, LTL shipping calculations (less than truckload), integration with Amazon, and much more.
- Wordpress: If you are interested in having a weblog site developed, or a weblog added to your existing site, we recommend Wordpress. We can install the software for you, recommend and install plug-ins for added functionality, install a third-party theme, or develop a custom theme to match your website. We also regularly use Wordpress as a mini-CMS (content management solution) for small-to-medium sized websites. In fact, our own website runs primarily on Wordpress!
- Kayako: The Kayako SupportSuite package allows you to run a helpdesk system on your website. We install and configure the software, and can even customize it at the source-code level to meet your specific needs.
- XML and XSL: We develop XML applications for a variety of purposes, but the most common use is to exchange data between multiple systems that may make up a given website. We also use XML, XSLT, and XSL-FO to create PDF documents from your data, such as building a PDF catalog from your Miva Merchant product catalog.
- Custom Applications in PHP and Java: Finally, we offer custom application development in case you need something built from scratch. Our experience primarily consists of PHP and Java, but we also carry some experience with ASP, VB and VBA, and C#.
