As an approved UPS product provider, Interapptive provides unparalleled support for downloading UPS labels, comparing rates and times, and tracking shipments. ShipWorks has the best UPS WorldShip integration available. With a single click, ShipWorks exports all order data to WorldShip, and automatically imports the tracking number, UPS service used, and cost of each shipment as soon as it's processed in WorldShip. ShipWorks generates all WorldShip import and export maps for you, saving you valuable time and lots of frustration.

Print U.S.P.S. Postage

ShipWorks simplifies the process of printing postage and creating USPS shipping labels for your orders. You can quickly print Internet postage with Endicia and Stamps.com, or download USPS shipping labels - all without the need to retype any information. When using Endicia, ShipWorks will automatically import the tracking number and total cost of each shipment. Email notifications can be sent to your customers automatically by USPS, or use the ShipWorks email features to send customized messages with tracking numbers.

Detail Panels Show it All

ShipWorks uses customizable panels to display all of your order information at a glance. Panels allow you to view and manage all order details, including items, charges, and shipments, all on the main ShipWorks screen. With the new notes panel, you can simply select an order and start typing any important notes. You can move, size, and hide each panel as you see fit.

Find Orders Fast with Quick Search

ShipWorks puts order information at your fingertips. With the new Quick Search feature you'll be amazed at how fast you can find orders. Just start typing an order number or customer name and ShipWorks displays the results as you type.

Manage Order Status

Tracking the status of each order as it moves through your process is easy. As the status changes, select the desired orders and simply click to change the status. Using the filters panel, ShipWorks will show you the running total of how many orders have each status.

Filters Show You What's Important

Filters help you to manage your workflow and track orders through each step of the fulfillment process. ShipWorks comes preinstalled with filters such as "Orders within the last 24 hours" and "Orders that have shipped", and you can create and customize as many filters as you need. The filter panel gives you a running count of how many orders match each filter. Filters can also be used to determine product trends or form marketing campaigns. Interested in sending an email to all customers who spent more than a given amount last month? Or maybe you would like to see how many orders you ship to the southwest each week. ShipWorks makes creating filters such as these easy.

Avery and DYMO Labeling

ShipWorks makes printing address labels easy. All Avery and DYMO label formats are supported, as well as any other label sheets you may have. Our SureSize™ feature ensures that every address fits on each label, and AddressCasing™ automatically formats each address for consistent and professional look. ShipWorks allows you to configure the printer and paper tray to which each type of label sheet will print. Many customers use multiple printers and trays, perhaps using one for printing invoices, another for pick lists, and a third for labels. With ShipWorks, you never have to worry about selecting the correct printer for the task - it's all handled for you.

Reports and Product Trends

ShipWorks' powerful report engine enables you to see exactly what your customers are buying and how much of it. ShipWorks can show you how many of each product you sell, what your best selling items are, and the average price that each item sells for. When used with filters, these reports help you answer powerful questions such as "What is my best selling product on the east coast?" or "What was the worst performer during last holiday season?"

Enhance Templates with Conditionals

ShipWorks templates support conditional content, which provides the ability to show or hide any HTML content based on order values or other conditions. For instance, the templates included with ShipWorks automatically hide $0.00 order item values and remove blank lines resulting from missing customer information, such as customer company information. Our customers use conditionals in many powerful ways, such as displaying a coupon code if the order total is over a certain amount, or including links to other related items based on what the customer purchased.

Add and Edit Orders

ShipWorks allows you to easily take phone orders and add manually entered orders. ShipWorks makes it simple to modify any aspect of an order, from the customer contact information to the items purchased and payments made.

Download and Email Logging

ShipWorks includes download and email log so you can track what you have done. The email log keeps track and stores a copy of all emails that have been sent, as well as any errors that occur. The download log tracks the duration of each download and the number of new orders that ShipWorks received.

Multi-Computer Networking

Each ShipWorks computer on your network can be simultaneously connected to the same ShipWorks database. As new orders are downloaded on one computer, they automatically appear on every other computer. As soon as a shipment is created or an order is edited on one computer, the changes are immediately visible to every other computer. Many of our customers like to setup separate computers for handling different tasks, such as a computer for customer service and a computer for shipping and packing. ShipWorks comes with and uses the powerful Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine (MSDE) database, giving you a fast and reliable networking experience.

Zero-Configuration Scale Support

ShipWorks supports a wide variety of hardware scales, including the NCI model 7010S (also known as the Stamps.com scale), Fairbanks scales, Metler Toledo, and the Salter Brecknell 7010SB. ShipWorks includes a number of royalty-free invoice, email, and report templates that you can easily customize to fit your specific needs. Any template can be printed, emailed, or saved. 3D Joe's Setup

With over seven years online sales experience, Brian Almashie and his team at 3D Joe Corporation offer a fine tuned selection of high-tech toys to children around the world via their interactive 3Djoe.com online toy store and virtual arcade. The 3Djoe.com site is much more than just a place to buy toys – it is an experience. The store comes alive with an array of engaging multimedia elements, including flash animation, free shockwave video games, and audio descriptions of each product narrated by the fictitious 3D Joe character himself.

“We provide a fun filled environment for children of all ages,” said Almashie. “Many people revisit our site to play our online games and in the process they learn about some really cool toys that spark their imagination. The entire 3D Joe experience works well to raise awareness of the 3D Joe brand and ultimately helps to drive our sales.”

The 3D Joe shopping cart system was developed using Miva Merchant. Customers can browse dynamically generated product pages, add items to their shopping cart, and then checkout - shipping charges are automatically calculated at checkout using Miva Merchant’s UPS shipping module.

As online sales have grown, the 3D Joe Corporation has faced a demanding set of challenges. In the beginning, 3D Joe staff re-entered shipping information into the UPS OnLine WorldShip application to process all of their shipments. As sales increased, this data entry process became increasingly time intensive, and error prone.

Almashie was quickly in search of a more streamlined approach to order fulfillment. In September, he attended Miva Conference 2003 in hopes of finding a solution that would work directly with Miva Merchant and offer an integrated set of UPS shipping tools – he found exactly what he was looking for – Interapptive’s ShipWorks software with UPS OnLine Tools built-in.

“Miva Merchant has been a great shopping cart system. As we grow our business though, we are really concentrating on value added solutions that will streamline our fulfillment and free up more time for what we do best – marketing,” explains Almashie. “Rather than re-typing shipping information for each order, which is a time consuming chore, we use Interapptive’s ShipWorks software because it works seamlessly with our existing Miva Merchant system. Now that we have ShipWorks, printing UPS labels takes only seconds and we can track shipments all from within one application. With ShipWorks, our UPS shipping process has been simplified to a few simple clicks, saving us many hours each day.”

When the 2003 Christmas season rolled around, 3D Joe Corporation was fully prepared for the increased volume in sales. "In the last few days leading up to Christmas, we had about 12 people packing orders. Due to the volume of orders we received, 4 computers were dedicated to printing labels. From a small office in Austin Texas, Matt Alper remotely manages the customer service end of his rapidly growing online business stationed nearly 1000 miles away in downtown St. Louis, Missouri.

It was just after WWII when Matt’s father and uncle began Alpers’ Jobbing Company, the wholesale operation that started it all. In 1996 Matt Alper, who had years of experience as an IT consultant, had a vision of extending his family’s business to the Internet. That’s when he purchased the CopShoes.com domain name.

CopShoes.com has been a success since going live in August of 2003, offering a wide variety of police shoes, army boots, and uniform shoes, at prices that are a sure-fit for even the most budget conscious individual. Operating order fulfillment from their 100,000 square foot warehouse, they now sell to businesses and individuals world wide.

“Since our first full month in business we have experienced a cumulative growth rate of 25% per month” Matt says, attributing his success to a number of factors including search engine marketing, word of mouth, and the ability to accurately and efficiently manage his order fulfillment and shipping process with ShipWorks.

“For the first two months our shipping clerk manually entered each shipment into UPS WorldShip software. This worked fine for a few weeks, but as we grew it was clear we needed a better way to manage our UPS shipments.”

The shipping clerk quickly checks the pre-filled weight field in case there are any last minute changes, and then clicks to request the available rates and services for the shipment. ShipWorks communicates with UPS servers and provides a list of available rates and services including Time in Transit information. The desired shipping method is selected and the label is printed. At the same time, the UPS system automatically sends a shipping notification email to the customer and to Matt’s office in Texas. This entire process takes place in only a few seconds.

With the help of ShipWorks software and UPS OnLine Tools, CopShoes.com is now processing over 100 orders each week, and growing.
