When taxation at the state level just isn't enough... calculate sales tax based on the customer's 5-digit zip code.

The Zip Based Sales Tax module allows you to specify one or more ranges of 5-digit zip codes, and to assign a sales tax rate to each range. If you need to charge varying sales tax rates depending on the zip code of the ship-to address, this module will suit your needs. You can also specify whether to tax shipping or not.

The module supports Canadian zip codes (alphanumeric and 6 characters), and supports up to 4 decimal places for the sales tax rate. An import module for importing text files is included.

Note: This module does not include ANY data. We do not sell tax rate tables. However, we do offer a sales tax calculator service called AccurateTax. AccurateTax works directly with Miva Merchant to return accurate sales tax rates based on the exact address - in other words, it supports 9-digit zipcodes, zipcodes that cross county lines, and other jurisdictions needed depending on the state.
