Bayho Ecommerce Case Study
Bayho Vitamins, Herbs, and Supplements was looking for a brand-new Miva Merchant website to replace an outdated, hard-to-use custom ecommerce site. After struggling to find the right developers, Bayho came to NetBlazon hoping for a better experience. They got it, and the result is a new shopper-friendly website chock full of professional features.
We provided a wireframe solution for Bayho's graphic designers to start from, and built a top-notch Merchant implementation to make the most of the new design. Two custom features were needed from the start. The first was a newsletter management system built within Miva Merchant to provide easy online access to monthly emails sent to subscribers. NetBlazon built a custom newsletter module for online viewing, and configured Subscribe2 (no longer available) to handle the monthly e-newsletter.
The second piece needed was the capability for certain categories to require a minimum purchase. Several of Bayho's vendors had a minimum dollar requirement, and Bayho wished to limit their customers to the same criteria. We designed a custom module that keeps customers from checking out if items in their shopping basket are in a minimum-restricted category and do not meet the requirements.
Bayho also utilized one of our latest modules, Basket Tracker. Because they sell consumable products, their customers often come back for the same products again and again. Basket Tracker allows a customer to save a basket for future ordering. This easy-to-implement feature increases Bayho's customer retention.
