ArsenalMX Ecommerce Case Study
January 2006
ArsenalMX came to us looking for a high-performance e-commerce website with a unique brand that would simultaneously offer usability and appeal to their young aggressive customers. NetBlazon teamed up with designer Andy Jackson of SublevelDesign to provide a consistent brand image across a number of section designs, resulting in a site with a unique interface and the right blend of edginess and usability to make their ecommerce ventures a success.
The site is built using XHTML and CSS positioning using a templating system that also allowed us to accomplish the user interface-switching among sections. This intra-site branding helps the shopper orient and navigate by determining what section they are browsing, despite a similar category structure (for example, Bars/Controls, Body, Brakes, and so forth exist in each of the 4 major parts sections: Dirt Bike, Mini Bike, ATV, and SuperMoto). Yet, the common category structure makes it much easier for customers to navigate throughout different sections of the store.
The strong use of graphics in the site emphasize both the product offerings and the company itself. ArsenalMX sponsors a team of riders, and their website also features industry news and competition photographs, in addition to information about their team and individual rides.
NetBlazon modules used are:
- Remember Me
- Subcategory Navigation
- Category Breadcrumbs Plus
- Attribute Prompt in Basket
- Related Products Import/Export
"NetBlazon definitely took our Miva store to the next level. Prior to enlisting NetBlazon as our Miva consultants, our store ran into several dead ends and was not user friendly at all. This is no longer the case as we have received many compliments on the layout and flow, thus walking customers right through the checkout process. The implementation of several NetBlazon modules like "breadcrumbs" and "Shop by Brand" enable the customers to know exactly where they are at and find the products they are looking for. We are very satisfied and would recommend NetBlazon again and again!"
