Antiki Ecommerce Case Study

Antiki had already created a unique image for their website, to correspond with their company image for exotic gifts from foreign lands, when they came to NetBlazon seeking assistance. While their code worked well in the static portion of their website, they were looking for assistance to carry this same image throughout their Miva Merchant pages.
We customized Antiki's website using page template modules for the products, category, and search results screens. Careful hand-coding of Miva Merchant pages allowed the site to accomodate a DHTML popup menu for shopping by price, as well as special features accomplished by using the OpenUI Supermod.
We also helped improve Antiki's ability to be spidered and ranked by search engines. We first modified the store to use directory-style links instead of the dynamic, querystring-based URLs that search engines often refuse to follow. We also customized Antiki's page templates, headers, and footers to provide higher visibility to their keywords.
