Remember Me for Miva Merchant 5 is Done!

We've just finished porting our Remember Me module to Miva Merchant 5. This is one of our most popular modules. It adds a "Remember Me?" checkbox to the login and account screens. When customers check the box to be remembered, it sets a cookie on their computer so that they are automatically logged in on return visits. It's a great way to increase usability, particular if you site has any kind of personalization, or uses price and availability groups.

Streaming Update Release of Miva Merchant 5.5

This week Miva Merchant rolled out version 5.5 of their renowned shopping cart application. It's a free upgrade for Miva Merchant users already running version 5.0, and it's offered as a streaming update. The bad news is that it's quite easy to upgrade. The good news is that it's quite easy to upgrade. Here's what I mean: When you log into your store's administrative interface, depending on your notification settings, you may see a popup window that looks like this:
