Tired of seeing your user-unfriendly attribute and option codes appearing in the customer's basket, instead of the more nicely-worded, descriptive prompts?

By default, Miva Merchant displays the CODE for an attribute or option within the basket contents, on the basket and all checkout screens. For some stores, this poses a usability problem, especially since the codes typically cannot contain whitespace or special characters.

You can change that with our Attribute Prompt in Basket module. A simple install of this module on an OpenUI-enabled store is all you need to show prompts on the basket page, all checkout screens, the invoice, and merchant and customer emails.

If you're using template modules, such as Other Page Templates, OpenUI Supermod Templates, or Dynamic Templates, you can still use this module. Just register the module as a third-party token, and uses the included tokens to display the attribute and option prompts in the correct location within your template code.

Our module even FULLY supports Attribute Templates!

In the image above, note how our test product (a calendar) uses the words "small" and "large" for the option codes, and a lower case "size" for the attribute code. However, the corresponding prompts are "4 x 4 Desk" and "12 x 12 Wall" for the options, and title case "Size" for the attribute.

Without our module, in the basket, you would see "size: small" on the attribute line. Our module changes this and shows "Size" and "4 x 4 Desk" instead. Much more user friendly!

System Requirements

OpenUI or Templates

Traditionally, this module requires the use of OpenUI. However, it also offers tokens for compatibility with templating systems, such as the Viking Page Template Modules, OpenUI Supermod templates, or Dynamic Templates. Information on the module's tokens can be found in the module's documentation. Free support does not include configuration and use of tokens within templating systems or the OpenUI itself.
